Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders for customers in the United States. Please read it carefully before placing an order.
1. Shipping Coverage
Northshelf currently ships to addresses within the United States, including all 50 states. We do not currently offer international shipping. If your address is outside the United States, your order may be automatically canceled and refunded.
2. Order Processing Time
Because Northshelf operates on a dropshipping model, your order is sent directly to our third-party suppliers for fulfillment rather than shipped from a Northshelf warehouse.
-
Orders are typically processed and submitted to suppliers within 1–3 business days of purchase
-
Processing times may be longer during high-demand seasonal periods (e.g., back-to-school, holiday season) or sales events
-
Orders are not processed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays
3. Shipping Times
Shipping times vary depending on the supplier fulfilling your item(s) and your delivery location. As a general guide:
Shipping Method Estimated Delivery Time
Standard Shipping: 7–20 business days
Expedited Shipping (where available)5–10 business days
Please note:
-
Delivery times are estimates provided by our suppliers and carriers, and are not guaranteed
-
Since we work with multiple suppliers, items in a single order may ship separately and arrive on different dates
-
Seasonal weather, customs processing, and carrier delays may extend delivery windows beyond the estimates above
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the item(s) ordered, shipping method selected, and delivery destination. Any applicable shipping promotions (such as free shipping thresholds) will be clearly displayed at checkout or on our Site.
5. Order Tracking
-
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information
-
If your order includes items from multiple suppliers, you may receive multiple tracking numbers, one for each shipment
-
Tracking information may take 1–3 business days to update after your shipping confirmation is sent
-
You can also check your order status by logging into your account on our Site or by contacting us at info@northshelf.net
6. Shipping Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. Northshelf is not responsible for orders delayed, misdelivered, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, contact us at info@northshelf.net as soon as possible — we will do our best to update the address before the order is submitted to our supplier, but we cannot guarantee changes once processing has begun.
7. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
-
If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors, household members, and your local carrier facility, as packages are occasionally marked delivered before physical arrival
-
If your package appears lost or significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, contact us at info@northshelf.net with your order number so we can investigate with the relevant carrier or supplier
-
Northshelf is not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in resolving the issue
8. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
All orders are shipped from suppliers to U.S. addresses. Any applicable U.S. sales tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout in accordance with applicable state law. Northshelf does not currently ship internationally, so customs duties and import taxes do not apply.
9. Order Changes and Cancellations
Requests to change or cancel an order must be submitted as soon as possible after purchase, as our suppliers begin processing orders quickly. Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for details on cancellation windows and procedures.
10. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Shipments
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for instructions on how to report the issue and request a replacement or refund.
11. Changes to This Policy
Northshelf reserves the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time to reflect changes in our suppliers, carriers, or business practices. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

What to include in the Shipping Policy
Generally speaking, a Shipping Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for processing orders; the shipping costs; different domestic and international shipping solutions; potential service interruptions; and much, much more.
